
Dr Rachel Roberts, MBBS(Hons) MRCP FRCGP MSc
Rachel is Primary Care Dean, London, Health Education England. Her main objectives and interests are the development hand in hand of primary and community care education, workforce, and services for population health. In her role for Health Education England, she assists in management of trainees, educators, and learning environments where complex issues develop, including regulatory and educational issues, supported by the Post Graduate Dean and Complex Cases Team.
She is an examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners, and has a keen interest in services for trainees needing additional support. She recently published The CSA Exam: Maximising Your Success, with two other examiners and RCGP recent role player lead. She has a special interest in supporting everyone to achieve their potential.
Dr Sanjiv Ahluwalia, FRCGP EdD MSc
Sanjiv has been Postgraduate Dean for Health Education England’s North Central and East London (NECL) local office since 2016. Prior to taking up this appointment, Sanjiv was Head of Primary Care Education and Development, and has been involved in medical education since 2002.
Sanjiv continues to work as a general medical practitioner in North London. He has completed a doctorate in education from the UCL Institute of Education. His research interests include the role of medical education in improving patient care. He has published extensively in specialty and educational journals.
